ISTD 2015 Milestones, Merit

To answer the Milestones brief I focused on the Rise and Fall of the Berlin Wall.
 
The publication uses two typefaces; Albertus and Franklin Gothic to convey the idea of division through the city. The use of the red correlates to the power that the Soviet Union had over the city, the publication uses more red as their grip strengthens. 
 
The perforated openings in the book signifies the motion of physically tearing down the wall.
